ABOUT US
We are a subsidiary producing company of Andante Musica that focuses on creating concerts that celebrate the life of Broadway musicals. We were founded in 2021 and made our debut in Taipei, Taiwan.
A corridor of doors is often used to represent a multitude of choices. Opening doors is a symbol of new life, or birth - of a doorway to the world. In our case, it’s a doorway to our world and to the people that bring the magic on stage. Whether you are a frequent concert-goer or a first-timer, we strive to bring the best quality with our performances in hopes to help capture the essence of our work. At the end of the day, we are a gateway for people to step foot into the world of live music.

WHAT IS A CABARET?
If you are a theatre geek like myself, your first thought would probably be the iconic EGOT winner Liza Minnelli’s portrayal of nightclub performer Sally Bowles in the 1972 film adaptation of the 1966 Broadway musical, Cabaret.
Or...if you didn't even know the existence of the word until today, don’t worry - you’re not the only one.
In traditional definition, the word ‘cabaret’ was originally defined as a style of entertainment that included a collection of short performances of music, theatre, and dance put together over a course of the performance and is usually performed at a restaurant or bar that served food and drinks.
While keeping the tradition of cabaret styles, we like to mix up the program by creating themed cabaret shows that might lure “non-theatrical” audiences to see the show.
We attend certain shows for multiple different reasons: you’re either a fan of the actor, the music, or the theme of the show. Or maybe you just want to attend a show for the sake of doing something. What we strive to do is come up with new content through common interests, and therefore aim to open our doors to new people.

ABOUT OUR
FOUNDER
"Hello, I'm Anita! Thank you for being here."
My passion for theatre began as a Freshman year student living in New York City. Being only a few train stops away from the theatre district, I quickly immersed myself in the world of musicals and fell in love with it instantly. I spent a lot of my time watching a handful of shows, collecting playbills, and rushing to the stagedoor to meet my favorite performers and asking for their autographs. As I thought this was the most exposure I would get from theatre performances, I stumbled across some of my favorite performers' cabaret shows. After attending my first cabaret show at New York City's hottest location Feinstein's/54 Below (now 54Below), lightbulbs began appearing in my head as I wondered if I would be able to produce one myself. I found Stagedoor Asia in the midst of the pandemic after having to leave New York. Cabaret shows that I have previously attended was the catalyst of Stagedoor Asia, as I wanted to bring that piece back home to share with my friends and family. Hopefully, my work will inspire you and welcome you into the world of Broadway, even if we are miles away from the Great White Way.
Fun Fact: I've seen Waitress eight times and ugly cried at each performance like it was the first time watching it.
